Gene Piotrowsky Emmy Winner, and now awarded the Literary Titan Silver Book Award, for his novel “Forgery by Deception,” grew up in New York City where he started his career in advertising, and publishing. He has been an art director, writer, and photographer for advertising agencies, corporations, and publishing companies in New York, and Los Angeles.
   After working for various companies, he started his own graphic design agency, and television production company, Wetland Productions. His clients have included The Food Network, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Fortune Magazine, AT&T, New York Magazine, Grolier Publishing, and Bantam Books. He has written, designed, and produced television commercials, corporate and marketing videos. 
   Mr. Piotrowsky also has extensive credits in film, and network television in both production, and post production, which has earned him an Emmy for, “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Children’s Programming,” for the “CBS Festival of Lively Arts,” the show “A Special Day in The Year of The Child,” and a Primetime Emmy Nomination for “Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Design, and Title Sequences,” for the “PBS Visions Series,” the feature film “The Gardener’s Son.” He has also designed the title sequences for, “Heartland,” and “Alambrista,” both feature films, “DeadRinger,” a CBS movie, “True Blue,” the NBC movie, and “Bellevue Emergency,” an ABC Series. 
   He has been involved in network series, as a post-production supervisor, and second unit director, for NBC’s movie and series, “True Blue,” and ABC’s series, “Bellevue Emergency,” and as editor for the “Canned Film Festival,” a syndicated sitcom. He was the post production supervisor and editor for Lifetime’s “Our Home,” supervising sound editor for NBC’s “Her Hidden Truth,” and has worked on ABC’s “Wide World of Sports,” and National Geographic specials. 
   As an author, Mr. Piotrowsky has written nine books, two of which contain his underwater photographs. Besides designing and publishing his books, he has designed and published, four additional books written by his late significant other. 
   His first novel, “Unfaithful,” is based on a story by his best friend and book editor, which they co-authored in 2022. “Forgery by Deception,” his latest novel is a Mystery/Crime, Thriller.
